1. PIGMENTOS

Titanium Dioxide: chemical compound whose formula is TiO₂..

It can appear in various forms in the natural environment: brookite (orthorhombic structure), anatase (tetragonal structure) and rutile (octahedral structure).

Both rutile and anatase are produced on a big scale industrially and are primarily used as catalysts or surface pigments.

Titanium dioxide is the most commonly used pigment in the world, due to its whiteness, opacity, protection, stability and reflection of radiation.

Applications:

• In the production of paints and plastics, paper, printing inks, cosmetics, textile, pharmaceutical and food products.
• In graphic arts where needs small thicknesses of pigments, such as titanium dioxide, are very fine.
• As a whitening agent that provides opacity in porcelain enamels, giving a final finish of great brightness, hardness and resistance to acid.

We commercialize two types of Titanium Dioxide:

• )R-2160 Titanium Dioxide: Rutile, Sulfate, Good Gloss, Good brightness, Easy Dispersion, Bluish Subtone.

Characteristics:

Bluish Chloride Subtone: 0.7-0.9. R-2160 is at levels of 1.3 – 1.4

Inorganic Pigments:

Green Chrome Oxide, Red Iron Oxide, Yellow Iron Oxide. Pigments that are used in the Manufacture of Paints, Pigmentary Pastes, inks, glasses, etc. In the case of Green Chrome Oxide, it is the dye in the “chrome green” and “institutional green”.

2. ADDITIVES

Coalescers: Coalescers are also called film formers, which are actually solvents of the polymer (emulsion) able of softening the area of the particles thereof so that when they come into contact they are able to bond, coalesce, in order to form the application temperature (this is the end), a continuous, smooth and flawless layer.

3. EXTENDERS OF TITANIUM BIOXIDE

PCC-Precipitated Calcium Carbonate

It is a Paint Extender that reduces the use of Titanium Bioxide (Ti02) keepping efficiency and all at a very competitive price

It is mainly used in decoration painting. In formula it can replace up to 20-22% of Ti02 in volume.

Our product is called P CAL, it is an alternative product to Socal P 2- P3.

We supply it in 20 kg bags, 1,000 kg pallets, 500 kg BB, and in bulk.

KAOLIN ALMASIL CC 87: it is a calcined kaolin, it has excellent optical and physical properties and is particularly appropriate as a dispersant in paints (reduces the use of titanium dioxide).

4. FUNCTIONAL LOADS-KAOLINS.

Loads for paints and traffic floors to improve abrasion resistance and anti- spli properties.

CAOLINES: : ALMISIL C 80 and ALMISIL C 140 – road paints

ALMISIL C 80: high abrasion resistance in weather-resistant marking coatings, as well as non-slip properties in floor coverings. Its excellent light reflection makes ALMISIL C 80 an optimal load for road marking paints.

5. ECOLOGICAL SOLVENTS.

DIBASIC ESTER (DBE): Ester of Dicarboxylic Acids.

Features: GREEN SOLVENT, Not toxic, Non-Flammable, Flash Point 100ºC, Low Voc (Low Volatile Organic Compounds).

6. FTALATE FREE PLASTIFICANTS.

Acetyl Tributyl Citrate: is a Phthalate Free Plasticizer, being an alternative to DBP, DINP, DEHP.

Not-toxic, non-flammable

Applications: it is a Plasticizer in Solvent Based Inks

7. FLUOROPOLYMERS FOR WOOD VARNISHES

Fluoropolymers / Fluoro Surfactants for Wood Varnishes (print qualities removes stains, repel dirt effect, improve moisture …) for the Treatment of Stone and Anti-Graffiti Products (to provide the surface with a waterproofing effect, rejection of any Type of Graffiti Printing).

Hexafor® SA-6320.

They are supplied in bottles of 5 kg, 50 kg, 100 kg, 200 kg and IBC of 1,000 kg, depending on the product.

8. TRIACETINE

Product used due to its moisturizing, plasticizing and viscosity properties. There are two qualities:

• Technique: for glues and inks.
• Food Quality: for aromas and fragrances.

Among its main applications are: Chewing gum, Flavors, Bakery products, Vitamins and supplements, Sweets, candies and pills, and snacks.

Specifically, in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry:
–     It is applied in the filters as plasticizer.
–     In perfumery it is used as a solvent for the extraction of aromas.
–     In pharmacy as an excipient of various products where take advantage of its moisturizing qualities . It also has fungicidal properties, which is why it is added in the treatment of fungal epidermal conditions.
–     It is a good plasticizer of cellulose-derived resins, compatible in all proportions with cellulose acetate, nitrocellulose and ethyl cellulose; It is also used as a plasticizer for copolymers and polymers of vinylidene. It confers plasticity and improves the laminar flow of resins, particularly at low temperatures
–     Serves as an ingredient of inks for printing on plastics and as a plasticizer in nail polish.

9. STUDY AND DEVELOPMENT OF CUSTOM FORMULAS FOR CUSTOMERS.

We have a Laboratory specialized in the study and development of Formulas to measure for our clients:

• On the one hand, to improve the efficiency of its formulas.
• On the other, to propose alternatives with application improvements.

There are times when traditional formulas are no longer advantageous due to changes in prices of certain components. We study the situation and propose alternatives (for example, formulas in which we propose the introduction of an Ultrathin Kaolin – extend together with PCC and adjusting formula, have a very good opacity and the final cost is much cheaper than currently used formulas).
